We Provide pediatric orthotic treatment requires specialized training in the often complex
management of disability in children. Here at CPOD the staff is knowledgeable in engineering,
anatomy, physiology, physics and biomechanics, as well as gait and alignment. Years of
education and experience are combined with a gentle hand and child-friendly environment to
make every visit a pleasant one for our special little patients and their family.
Evaluations are done in a fun interactive way and casts are removed without a cast cutter. This
eases anxieties in both parent and child. Having an in-house lab provides practitioners the
ability to design typical and atypical custom made orthoses for both upper and lower
extremities. Our talented technicians fabricate these systems with an artistic flare and technical
excellence which makes them functional and child-accepted as well. We even take extra time to
make each device look as “cool” as possible through the eyes of a child by coordinating favorite
designs and colors.
